The applicant must be highly motivated as evidenced by academic achievement. Applications are not considered for students with:
- Below average grades
- Below average standardized test scores

LINK Unlimited expects each student to exhibit good moral character, a willingness to support the organization and its activities, and potential to succeed in a challenging environment.

Each family must demonstrate financial need such that, without LINK, the student would not be able to attend the school of choice. (Supporting documents will be required. e.g. 1040 & W2 forms)

LINK Unlimited is a family centered program, therefore, we expect the parent(s)/guardian(s) to be integrally involved, cooperative and supportive of the student as well as the organization and its programs, sponsor/student relationship, and LINK’s activities and meetings.

Students will be selected for interviews after the initial screening. One or more LINK representatives will interview students along with their parents or guardian. Acceptance into the program will be awarded to those who successfully complete the interview process.

Accepted students must successfully complete a six-week summer school session which will be held at Fenwick High School in Oak Park IL. (Required courses are Algebra I and Developmental English)
